Engstr\u00f6m is one of those photographers who introduced the Swedish photography in the world of contemporary art over the past decade. Since his success with the book Trying to Dance that Robert Frank praised so much, J.H. Engstr\u00f6m has received numerous awards and has published numerous books, including From Back Home with his friend Anders Petersen.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/97620042?color=b3001e\" width=\"430\" height=\"242\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Today, J.H. Engstr\u00f6m lives and works in Sweden.<br \/>\nFormer assistant of fashion photographer Mario Testino and of Anders Petersen, he published his first book, Shelter, in 1997. Since that, J.H. Engstr\u00f6m travelled the world and developped a personal work which, outside the conventions of portraiture, still life and landscape, favors the daily life of the photographer and his family.
