Trashissima is comprised of photos made during various vacations in Italy in 2024.
“Italy is like a colossal, extravagant cinema set. Everything from the pillars of classical antiquity to the most vulgar and sleazy of dives can be found within this wonderful country.
I like to take advantage of this cinematic grandeur to stage my photos.
When I travel there I always go with a few wigs, a couple of pairs of garish stockings, some random slutty clothes and a cheap, lightweight tripod.
It needs to be as convenient and hassle free as possible.
Nothing is planned in advance, I find the locations on the fly, using the existing landscape and decors as background to portray various crude and sleazy characters.”
