In summer 2010, during preparation, then reporting on the work of an association working with young school dropouts in Villetaneuse (93), our intention was in no way to claim six years later to have gathered a wealth of information, faces and experiences from the working-class neighbourhoods of France.

However, six years on, the result is a major work: “Une jeunesse française”. The product of the work of a photographer and a journalist, of their opposing views and their complementary images and texts.
